Live The Seven

What can the Seven disciplines do for you?
Speaking from experience the 7 can do wonders - here’s a short list of some of the benefits that I myself and several others have garnered by making them a regular part of your daily routine.
Peace of mind - an over-all feeling of contentment - deeper sleep - energy, lots and lots of energy - focus - mental toughness - stress relief - physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual well being - a feeling of connection to a higher power - joy - the ability to love unconditionally
Nourish: The Chi-Force eating philosophy centers around eating as close to nature as the path to living a healthy, disease free existence.
Meditate: This discipline interrupts the daily cycle of repetitive thinking and gives the mind an opportunity to rest and revive.
Move: Its crucial to keep your body’s energy flowing. Outside of your fitness routine, activities…dance, hike, walk…keep in motion
Study: this discipline advocates the importance of learning and exploration as a means to personal growth.
Pray: Express your gratitude for life and sympathy for those less fortunate. This discipline promotes a sense of appreciation for life, while keeping our perception of suffering grounded.
Connect: reconnect with nature and the earth and its abilities to nourish every body, mind and spirit.
Serve: This discipline calls to mind the importance of making a contribution to society through charitable deeds and positive actions.
I suggest you set a goal for yourself -  give the 7 a good old fashioned try and see what happens - everyday for three weeks try and incorporate as many of the 7 as you can and experience the magic for yourself - If you have a life changing experience I’d love to hear about - shoot me an email and share your story - powercenter1@aol.com -

Response to “Live The Seven”

Ina Trider

The comment I would like to make is that I had once attended a 12 Step Programme for a few months. My health was getting me down. It was possibly due to my father’s drinking problems. The AA programme gave me so much new undersstanding -but I could not handle the smoking etc.of those who attended - I felt empathy for them and it took me off course. Years later I turned to a doctor and a life coach, both who said ‘You give your power away’. Power? That was not understood. That seemed to baffle them.
I believe now that it is a typical women’s struggle in spite of all that has been made known. We need this ‘Live The Seven’ kind of training. All the best…
